Lana Rose, Olson, LMT

Owner & Principal Therapist

Lana has been using her hands for healing since she was a small child rubbing her grandma's shoulders, but formalized her skills in 2011 at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork (PCAB). PCAB incorporated Swedish massage, Connective Tissue Therapy, Structural Integration and Neuromuscular Therapy with psychoemotional processing tools from Gestalt Therapy, Hakomi, and Transcendental Meditation techniques. She returned to PCAB over several years as a guest instructor, teaching Swedish Massage, Prenatal Massage, and Yogalign. In 2019, she trained in Sarga Bodywork, which revolutionized her practice by allowing her to utilize her feet to work more deeply and sustainably through the myofascial matrix. She now teaches Sarga Bodywork, sharing this transformative modality with other practitioners.

She believes that each person has the capacity to access their own healing wisdom and acts as a conduit for that wisdom, allowing the body, mind, and spirit to align. Her touch has been described as nurturing, thorough, and deep.

Lana has also been a doula since 2010, and her work as a doula and midwifery assistant has taught her to honor the body's innate wisdom and hold space for transformation with patience and reverence. Her studies in Curanderismo healing practices with Robert Vetter under the lineage of Maestro Laurencio López Núñez continue to deepen her understanding of energy, ritual, and the spiritual dimensions of healing. These experiences, combined with her somatic psychology training from Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork, inform her approach to bodywork as a holistic practice that addresses not just physical restriction but emotional holding patterns and the mind-body-spirit connection.

She integrates Structural Integration, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Sarga Bodywork to address specific injuries, chronic pain, postural strain, and stress-related tension. As a Yogalign facilitator, she also helps clients develop body awareness and sustainable movement patterns. Her practice accepts medical insurance, and she offers consulting on medical billing for bodywork practitioners in Hawaii. Her philosophy is that there is always more to learn, and she is honored by her clients' trust, vulnerability, and courage to heal.

Her practice is office-based in Kapaʻa, HI.
